The Mormon Church Reversed Three Revelations. No One Ever Explained How to Tell the Difference.

You were taught that the prophet cannot lead the church astray. You were also taught that polygamy was required for the highest celestial glory, that Black men were spiritually unworthy of the priesthood, and that the children of same-sex couples were apostates who had to disavow their parents to be baptized. All three of those were the word of God. All three have since been reversed. Each reversal was also the word of God. And in 126 years of institutional history, no one has ever explained how to tell the difference between a revelation that lasts and one that gets quietly walked back when the political cost gets too high.
